Start the tiny balls moving with the battery powered switch motor and watch them settle. When the aerial on the unit is pointing towards gold you will see the balls remain on the white area. If there is no gold in the direction the aerial is pointing the area will remain bare.

For the more observant, you can tell if there is gold in the aerial direction when the spout of the whirling 'cyclone in a bottle' is almost non-existent.

Colorful with it's changing LED colors and precise, this doubles as a great ornament.
